Product Description
Spectro Hypoid is a hypoid gear lubricant formulated with the highest density and highest viscosity index petroleum base stocks available. Special EP additives are used to reduce pinion gear wear helping to extend component life. For use in all shaft drive hypoid gear boxes. Spectro Hypoid gear lubricant is API GL-5 rated and meets all known OEM warranty requirements.
Spectro Hypoid product is designed for the final drives and transmissions of all shaft drive motorcycles that do not have a wet clutch, including BMW®, MotoGuzzi®, older Harleys®, and Big Twins. The gear oil has the following specifications:
